A pretty good day, all in all. I'm having some trouble, right now but, I'm trying to get through it with happy thoughts. It's just that German is so difficult and I don't really have friends. I am so happy I have Catherine, though. We watch Gilmore Girls (she has every season and it's such a feel-good show) and play 'Dog' and stuff. Oh! Right now she's teaching me the Amelie song on piano. Sehr sehr shön! Ich liebe es. Yea. I can make short sentences fine but seriously. German. So difficult. That's why even when I use my tranlsator I usually don't understand the sentence or question. Okay, this is not nearly the worst German sentence ever but, right now, it's the only one I have written out. That I understand. 'Ich konnte nicht gehen, also ist stattdessen meine Schwester gegangen.' If you literally translated it, word by word, it would be this: I could not go so, is instead my sister went.' Okay. That's actually not bad at all. That's really easy. And: 'Könne ich stattdessen frische Milche für meinen Tee bekommen' is: Can I instead fresh milk for my tea have? YESSSSS! I'm not looking forward to the longest day in the world tomorrow. Grrrrr. Okay, I'm gonna watch Gilmore Girls now so more tomorrow. Tscüss! Swiss German is so cute.
